About Nancy
Nancy Hodge-Hickey brings a wealth of experience and dedication to McGrathBoyd, with a career in the legal field spanning over 46 years. Originally from Main Brook, White Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nancy moved to Labrador City in 1971. She completed her schooling there and pursued a college course in Secretarial Science at Labrador City Collegiate in 1976. Nancy began her legal career at Miller & Hearn Law Firm in Labrador City at the young age of 20, where she worked diligently until June 2000 before relocating to Moncton.
Once in Moncton, Nancy initially took on the role of receptionist at McGrathBoyd. Her strong work ethic and keen abilities quickly saw her transition to a real estate assistant position where she excelled for approximately six years.
After a period in Fredericton, Nancy returned to Moncton and rejoined McGrathBoyd in 2020, taking on the role of Real Estate Coordinator. In this capacity, Nancy oversees the opening and closing of files, conducts preliminary work, and assists with the completion of real estate closings. Her meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of real estate transactions make her an indispensable part of the team
Nancy’s extensive experience is complemented by her personal interests and hobbies, which include sewing and crafts, staying active at the gym, walking, dancing, and enjoying music. An avid downhill skier, she finds joy in the slopes during the winter months.
